I loved reading that , all the memories and all from a tiny shoe, so many new friends you have made from sharing the same passion.
i am happy to have been part of this blog even if for a short time.

I too found your blog at a very late stage in your shoe collection days, , but completely understand where you are coming from, I too am thinking of calling a halt to my collection, and enjoying the shoes I have. I,m so happy that you have decieded to keep the blog going for a while so we have another place to share our thoughts, but as you say life goes on and changes and our priorities change.
This makes your anniversary so much more special ,... knowing it will be your last I hope everyone can join in to give you a lasting memory to add to your others, of all your blogger friends and how much we care for you
love Sara

I enjoyed the wonderful info you just posted as I was not at all the signings and was a late comer in collecting. Istarted then stopped and started back up. Iwill continue if able too. Will definately miss your info but we will all still come to your site, always interested in other collectors info and excitedment. I love seeing your pictures of where you live. Some day would love to visit that area. Will always be in touch with you on here as long as your site is up. Haven't been looking on the boards as much lately but will try and keep looking here. Will miss you telling us the scoops and other things but will still remain to keep in touch. The other sites I will also visit as we all have fun and love to share the info. Wish you the very best in your future. :)

Artis,
I will never forget the first time we met and the many great times we have had over the years. As much as I love our little shoes I must admit that they are a luxury that I can no longer afford. I wish you and Cloyd only the best.
Big Hugs

Artis, like you said we will always have our memories as we have collected JTRS, and we all will have the friendships we have built because of JTRS. That being said, I will miss your blog and thank you for all that you have done for the collectors over the years. I am glad we met and I wish you nothing but the best always. Take care, Debbie G.

Tears flow. I also feel that the time has come to stop collecting. I have made so many friends and had wonderful get-togethers here in the UK. You have been my saviour Artis with finding these little treasures. JTRS collectors are the best. I love you all. xxxxx

Artis I'm not posting as you know but I wanted to take this opportunity to say I shall miss reading your blog & "seeing" you on a daily basis! You were always a "staple" for me to read what was going on when I had just a few minutes to get on the computer! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE FOR ME THROUGH THE YEARS! YOU ARE A TREASURED FRIEND!
ReplyDeleteLove & Hugs,
Robyn
Artis,
ReplyDeleteI am truly saddened to know that you will not be selling JTRS any more. You have always been one of the most decent, honest, and caring JTRS collectors/dealers I've known (not to take anything from any of the others but to acknowledge you for the beautiful person you are). I wish you all the best in all your future endeavers and hope you have a wonderful life in Cody.
Hugs,
Deb
