Today April (Craigs widow) surprised me with a spa pedicure! She has been visiting with us down here in Cody and we had one together. It was nice, something that she and I did with Craig in his last days.

It has been down to -17 and up to a high of -2 here, and tonight the wind is especially bad. If Marcie gets a drink before going outside, when she come in (she only makes it to the top step) her beard is frozen!!

We came home last night to 2 inches of snow and 2 degrees. I didn't drink all my tea, and Cloyd brought in my cup. I went to take the tea bag out and it was froze solid, and that is being inside the Yukon. That is cold!!!

WORKING ON SHOE ORDERS TOMORROW

I hope to get the rest of the shoes inspected and mailed out this week. We arrived home Sunday evening and with a good nights sleep I will be ready to start again on Monday.

I have sent out emails to those whose shoes orders I have put together. Any questions, feel free to ask.

ON THE WAY HOME THIS MORNING

We left Idaho this morning and all but this pass between Idaho and Montana it was clear blue skies and no snow. We were coming down the pass into Missoula and this was in our road. A mamma moose and baby. The baby was licking the rock salt that they had put down on the road. It was so cool to see them.They ran off to the side of the road safe and sound.

NEW SHOES IN~HALF OF THEM...

I was able to take a few minutes to get my shoe inventory out on the shelves and even got some shipped out. I will work on the International orders tomorrow, and the other half of the orders will be in tomorrow.

I was very pleased with some of the shoes that I didn't think were going to be my favorites, but are so cool!!

You will be very pleased with the Grape shoes, the color of the grapes with the depth is amazing!! If I can sneak a little more time in the shipping room, I will try to give a little more information. This month ended up being so crammed full with the trips to the different states for the memorial services.

Thank you for being patient with me, and I will get the remainder of the shoes shipped when I return from Idaho. I leave early Friday morning as it is a 12 hour trip.

We took a break to take Marcie for a walk this afternoon. She doesn't have a fenced place yet and she loves to go chase the deer out of the yard. Since rutting season is starting we have to watch her and the 4 point buck that hangs around. This is down over the hill from our house we are leasing, still on the property. We didn't go all the way to the river, will do that next time.

HERE I AM..

I finally got back here, with computer problems and getting everything sorted its been a while.

The shoes have not arrived yet, were suppose to be here Friday. I hope they will get here tomorrow. The second half of the order is due here the 5. I will work hard on getting them inspected and in the mail, thank you for your patience.

I will be in and out, Cloyds mom passed unexpectedly on Wed. and my stepdad on Thursday. We will go to Idaho the end of the week (8 hours) for his services and then Nov. 14 is Cloyds moms,(5 hours away).

I have been saving the unpacking of my collection for last so I can enjoy putting them all away.

HELLO FROM BEAUTIFUL WINDY CODY

We made the long drive to Wyoming and have unloaded a 24 foot truck and 3 additional vehicles. Now I am up to my ears in boxes.

If I can ask for a little help, we are not able to send out emails from our accounts at artis.forshoes@bresnan.net if you have a shoe on order with me, please send me an email with your order on it so I can update my paperwork and can email you with your order information. They charged me for the big part of the order on Friday so they should be here this week.

COMPUTER COMES DOWN TODAY~

Just wanted everyone to know that we will take the computer down today and won't be back up and running until the weekend. (I hope)

CONFLICTING INFORMATION

Yesterday I called Customer Service 3 time inquiring about the shoes. Many emailed me with the shoes on ebay.

I was told three different things, and one of them is that my ship date is 10/19 with it being 1-7 days late. I am to call that week to see if they are in.

I was then told they are in and shipping.

The third answer was, they won't be in until the end of the month.
So I kindly told them that they need to check for an update and see what the status is.
Also ask what port they will be coming in to. It depends I was told, California or Va. could be either one.

I will continue to see what I can find out. Be sure that I will get them out once I have received them and checked them.

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF MY NEW ADDRESS LABELS?

DON'T KNOW WHEN OR IF WE WILL GET A PEEK, HOWEVER..

JUDGING FROM WHAT THE BOX TOP OF 'SHADES OF COOL' SHOWS, WHAT COLOR AND STYLE DO YOU THINK THE SHOE WILL BE??

PERHAPS IN THE NEXT MONTH OR SO WE WILL BE ABLE TO GET A PEEK AT IT? I JUST THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE FUN TO GUESS WHAT IT MIGHT LOOK LIKE?

I have been trying to think could it be different shades of pastels as the box lid...or the other extreme neon colours so you need shades to look at them-LOL

I went to scan the Rocks print, it is a really nice one that is on heavier paper, not the regular paper. The scanner has decided to quit, so I will take a photo of it and post it here. Will try to do that tomorrow sometime.

I did want to post my new address here, and let all know that the shoes will be shipped to me at my Wy. address with the same time arriving as in Washington state. We have reservered the moving truck. Our moving date is Oct. 20 and its a 2 day trip.

Cloyd officially is retired today, seems weird he is so young, but its nice with the union that they offer it to you at 55 : ) He is 20+ vested with the union. We have been in the Sultan area for almost 24 years, so it will be a big change, but a new part of our life is opening...Do they call these the golden years? Are man and wife suppose to be together 24/7, lol...we'll see!! Just kidding!!

I have been packing enough in the house to stage it for the inside photos to get on the internet. I have turned the inventory area and shipping are of the shoe room back into a master bedroom so people can see it is a 4 bedroom house.

Along with this, I have been trying to be of comfort to my Mom and Sister as my step dad is in final stages of cancer and in the hospital. They think he is having reaction to the pain meds or else the cancer is in the brain, a scan may be ordered. He goes through bouts of getting very angry and mentally abusive to the nurses as he pulls his iv out and tries to get out of bed. They are trying to decide if its the meds or the cancer that is doing this to him.

I am still going to be doing some giving away of items, its just all this going on and being sick on top of it all, I am not being real successful.

I APPRECIATE EVERYONE'S COMMENTS~

It was a tough one to judge, I loved all the color combination. The contest was for "The contest will be the one whose coloring comes closest color of the shoe." This would mean the colors used, not the placement of the color used. I felt that the placement of the colors, had it been that a different person would of won. Since it was for coloring, that makes it different to pick the winner.
