LOVE these pictures Artis!  Thank you Robyn. Are these the ones of the house you are renting or the house you were staying at previously? This is just the swimming pool and hot tub at the same resort that we used during the vacation. We will be leasing a different house, but in the same area so we have rights to the use of them. It looks so relaxing & Cloyd looks like he's really enjoying himself! He was, since his sunburn had gotten a bit better. Thanks for sharing them. Can't wait to see more.I searched for the photos and still can't find them, I am not giving up tho.

Gosh...the pictures are soooo inviting, what a fantastic lifestyle change for you, it something I think we all dream about , I'm so glad you have been able to make your dream come true Thanks Sara, funny thing is before the vacation, we had never even thought of moving to Mexico. I have always love the roar of the ocean, and while this is only the Sea of Cortez, it is so close to the Pacific that we get the tide action and the roar of an incoming tide.

Trying to find...

I received some photos of the house, they are in a file somewhere in the computer. The rental agency sent them. When I find them, I will share!

HOW INVITING IS THIS??

We found a house in Mexico. Its where we wanted to live, in Spa Buena Vista. It is a few blocks from where we stayed when visiting in March. It is fully furnished, so it lets me know just how much more things I will be selling.

We can drink the water in this community as it comes out of the ground at 184 degrees. Here are photos of the pool and the hot tub that we get to use while living there!! They fill the hot tub with the water from the ground, then they circulate it by shooting it up in the air and coming back down so it will cool to a temp. that can be used.

It's sad for us as well that you have nothing to do with JTRS. I feel lost, though I wish you all the best for your new life. Heidi, it is very strange for me not to do anything with JTRS, I also feel a loss. Its been a part of my life for a long time, as you have, and I do miss it. I promise I will get better with posting here, I am not good at working at the Vintage shop where I sell my jewelry, help take care of an elderly gentleman and keep up with the computer, the trying to downsize my house and all. I hope to get better and the blog be a regular habit. I know when in Mexico, all I will be 'working' at is just craft shows with my jewelry. I have not even beaded since February.

Hi Artis,
I have been wondering how you were getting along with all the packing etc I only have 4 boxes packed, its what I am keeping from my pedicure business just in case I do it in Mexico.,...it is sad to see you no longer active with JTRS I did love it while I did it, especially when I could share scoop with everyone and have my little anniversary parties!, but I think we have many members now who aren't collecting as before, I haven't purchased any from this season , due to space, and am desperately trying to come to terms with the fact that my collection is complete for me...gosh it's hard, I don't know how you managed to chosse which to keep and which to sell. If you get chance let us know how and which you did decide I struggled with it, and if it wasn't for space I would of kept more. I sat and thought about the special memories with each shoe, and decided that the memories that are etched in the heart and mind the most I would keep. Each little shoe I had (wasn't a completest) that was given to me by a shoe friend, or that was a special surprise gift, I have. My curio is no longer with anything extra, it will only have my shoes as it is a tall but small curio. However, I have managed to keep about 60 shoes.

best wishes for your future in Mexico Thank you, it will be the end of Sept before we know it.

SORRY FOR THE ABSENCE

The past few months have been very busy. Taking a look at 38 years of collecting, life as we call it and trying to decide what I can take and what I will leave has been very hard to say the least.
I have sold to many of you a large part of my JTRS collection, as I can only take one small upright curio. Thank you to all that gave a home to my shoes.

I will begin sorting through more memories of the JTRS, catalogs, photos, bits and pieces of events that I have attended. I will put them here as give aways if you just pay the postage.

Funny what life throws at you, and how you decide to work with it. I am looking forward to the new chapter in my life in Mexico, but also will miss (hit me hard this release knowing I have nothing to do with it anymore) the selling of the JTRS and the friends but will always have the memories. I will get back to keeping my blogsite current, and hope that each of you also pop in to let me know what you are doing.
