Cloyd has been working so Archie has been taking Jayden fishing. The river is high as they have been letting water out of the reservoir, however, tonight they had fish, 3 didn't get away

SOMETIMES IT TAKES A PILOT AND CO PILOT TO GET THE JOB DONE.

THEN YOU JUST GOT TO COOL OFF! THE RED THAT LOOKS LIKE A NOSE IS ACTUALLY HER BOW IN HER HAIR. SHE LOVED GETTING WET.

whole in the wall rest stop and marcie wanting to cool off

I love this tree..don't know why??

Mt Rushmore, what a changed from 28 years ago.
THE KIDS LOVED THE GATOR MAN. HE WAS FUNNY BUT VERY CAUTIOUS. HE WAS SHOWING HOW TO SUBDUE A GATOR IF YOU HAPPEN TO RUN ACROSS ONE. HE TOLD WHAT NOT TO DO AND WHAT TO DO. VERY EDUCATIONAL.

WE FOUND CLOYDS AUNT THAT HE HAS NOT SEEN SINCE THE 80'S. WE TOOK MARCIE FOR A WALK TO FIND HER HOUSE, WE HAPPEN TO BE STAYING IN THE SAME END OF TOWN. I KNOCKED ON THE DOOR AND ASK "ARE YOU MS. LILLIAN ALLGIER"? SHE SAID "YES" I STEPPED ASIDE AND SAID "WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE CLOYD ALLGIER"? I AM BAD, I KNOW, SHE IS 78 I COULD OF CAUSED HER TO HAVE A HEART ATTACK, BUT ALL WAS GOOD!!!

WEATHER WAS BEAUTIFUL, SHARING SOME PHOTOS

BEAUTIFUL DAYS FOR SWIMMING. RAPID CITY, SOUTH DAKOTA WHERE THE WEATHER WAS IN THE 90'S THE WHOLE TIME.

MARCIE NORMALLY IS NOT ALLOWED OUT OF HER SEAT ON THE CONSUL BETWEEN CLOYD AND I BUT IT WAS A LONG RIDE AND SHE NEEDED A LITTLE PETTING. TAYA WAS HAPPY TO DO IT.

THIS WAS ONE OF MY FAVORITE PARTS. ABOUT 30 YEARS AGO WHEN WE TOOK THE THREE BOYS TO REPTILE GARDENS, OUR OLDEST TRAVIS HAD HIS PICTURE TAKEN ON THE BACK OF THE TORTOISE. THEY DON'T ALLOW YOU TO SIT ON THEM ANY MORE BECAUSE THEY ARE SO OLD. THIS ONE IS 129 AND THE VERY ONE THAT TRAVIS WHO IS TAYA AND JAYDENS DAD SAT ON. I THOUGHT THAT WAS PRETTY COOL!

BEFORE VACATION, JAYDEN AND MARCIE FOR A BIKE RIDE

JAYDEN WANTED TO WATCH MARCIE EAT PEANUT BUTTER~SHE ENJOYED IT!

YEARS AGO THE BOYS SEEN DEVILS TOWER FROM THE OTHER SIDE OF THE STATE,LOL...WE POINTED IT OUT AS WE DROVE BY. IT WAS LIKE 1/2 INCH TALL. ON THE WAY HOME WE TOOK THE KIDS BY TO SEE IT UP CLOSE.

IT WAS TOO BUSY AT SYLVAIN LAKE BY MT. RUSHMORE TO GET THE BEAUTIFUL PHOTOS, SO WE WENT UP ABOVE AND I THOUGHT A ROCK PHOTO WOULD BE NICE..IT WAS BEAUTIFUL, BUT NOT LIKE THE LAKE BELOW.

I too found your blog at a very late stage in your shoe collection days, , but completely understand where you are coming from, I too am thinking of calling a halt to my collection, and enjoying the shoes I have. I,m so happy that you have decieded to keep the blog going for a while so we have another place to share our thoughts, but as you say life goes on and changes and our priorities change.
This makes your anniversary so much more special ,... knowing it will be your last I hope everyone can join in to give you a lasting memory to add to your others, of all your blogger friends and how much we care for you

I enjoyed the wonderful info you just posted as I was not at all the signings and was a late comer in collecting. Istarted then stopped and started back up. Iwill continue if able too. Will definately miss your info but we will all still come to your site, always interested in other collectors info and excitedment. I love seeing your pictures of where you live. Some day would love to visit that area. Will always be in touch with you on here as long as your site is up. Haven't been looking on the boards as much lately but will try and keep looking here. Will miss you telling us the scoops and other things but will still remain to keep in touch. The other sites I will also visit as we all have fun and love to share the info. Wish you the very best in your future. :)

Artis,

I will never forget the first time we met and the many great times we have had over the years. As much as I love our little shoes I must admit that they are a luxury that I can no longer afford. I wish you and Cloyd only the best.

Artis, like you said we will always have our memories as we have collected JTRS, and we all will have the friendships we have built because of JTRS. That being said, I will miss your blog and thank you for all that you have done for the collectors over the years. I am glad we met and I wish you nothing but the best always. Take care, Debbie G.

~PLEASE READ ~

Dearest Collectors, Friends and Family,
While I was going through photographs the other day, it brought a tear to my eyes to think back on all the places I have had the opportunity of traveling because of these wonderful little shoes. All the memories I have in my mind and in albums.
I fondly remember the first two shoes I purchased and when Cloyd suggested that since I had a pedicure shop I should sell them in the shop. That was the beginning of a long and eventful ride!! What a ride it has been!
I remember the thrill of the hunt as I was trying to build my collection, and sell to others to build their collection. I remember sitting at the computer trying to make sure I got the ‘Go Collect’ exclusive, the ‘Parkwest’, ‘Naled’. I remember the JCC conventions where I met a lot of you friends, others I met while working the signings. Those were wonderful years!!
I remember when the doctor told me I needed to get in and get my hip replaced and he had an opening that conflicted with a signing! Lol…I told him I was not available at that time, would have to do a different time. It conflicted with a signing. My daughter in law Nemico pushed me in a wheel chair around San Francisco so that we could site see, my best friend from childhood and her daughter making the signing even more special. That was the year I was interviewed and was featured in the instep magazine.
I remember Roseville at the Ice show, I flew in still walking with a cane, but I made it and was at the dinner where Rained received some awards, attended the special question and answer tea. When I fell, the dear collectors (you know who you are) that picked me up and got me to the hotel.
I remember Carolynn and the JCC what a club! I was a guest dealer at the dinners & conventions getting to meet more of you collectors/friends.
I remember as I look at shoes in my curios and I tell the stories that go along with each and every shoe. I remember Cloyd pushing me in a wheel chair in Florida so we could see Bush Gardens together, he was able to come with me and meet you friends also. Of course it was for another signing, lol..
I remember Helen, her beautiful talent of doing graphics for me, never hesitating when I would send the ‘help’ emails. I remember the signing in New York where I was able to meet her!!
I remember Oralia and all the work she has and continues to do in the coloring of our little shoes. I remember the girls at Willitts, it was funny how everything was kept quiet about the next release, us hanging on every word to see if there was any ‘scoop’ that slipped out.
I remember Raine how she was always there without much of any break, signing the shoes, personalizing, listening with teary eyes when a collector would tell their story about how they started collecting.
I remember when there were growing pains, one club would vanish another taking its place. A place for collectors/friends to meet and talk about their shoes, their lives, their sorrows their conquests. I remember when I opened my blog, the first time. I was able to contribute a place a home for collectors to keep up on the latest news. I remember the year I closed the blog because Raine had set her website up and the Buzz had started up. I said I didn’t want there to be extra burden on Rained trying to get information to everyone. That was when she had no assistant. I remember all the emails from all the collectors asking me to please open it again that they missed it…and so I did.
That was then, this is now. Its seems with financial difficulties with companies, economy falling, interest taking different directions that there are many that use to collect that now do not. The friendships are still there, fast and bonded, but the shoes are a luxury that not all can have now. I remember when I found out that I was going to be moving, Cloyd retiring, a new phase in my life. They say it is a full circle. I have 3 wonderful granddaughters that love the shoes and collect (need to get them updated, love you girls!)
I remember the wonderful 10th anniversary I had the honor of hosting for Raine, and I thank everyone that made it a success. It is all the planning and behind the scenes people and time and money that go into a signing. If it had not been for my support system that took over when the stress overwhelmed me, it would not as been a success that it was.
Evergreen does not fly artists around to signing, they are a gift company, they are not a collectors company. They will not be giving out any information. We don’t get to preview the shoes, we don’t get scoop. It makes it hard to keep a collectors interest without all of this, but you still have each other, that will keep the collections alive. Remember to visit Raine’s website to keep informed and see when the next release is coming out and what it looks like..
I remember about a month ago when I found out that I was accepted as getting a recolor, Maneater. I remember asking if I could have it in leopard and black, Helens recolor. I am so happy and that it is in Helen’s honor that this became a reality.
I remember the teary days when I made the decision that I would not longer be a dealer for these wonderful shoes. I remember emailing my close collectors that have been with me for 9 years to tell them so they didn’t have to read it here.
It is with a sad heart that I must announce that I will not be selling the shoes any longer.. I will finish selling my inventory at a greatly reduced price. If I have taken an order from you I will fill it, and of course the recolor. Tell your friends, retired collectors, I have many left to sell.
As I reduce my inventory,I will list the shoes that I will have and their prices, perhaps helping some new collectors in gaining the shoe they have been looking for.
I am happy to say that July 14, I will have the blog anniversary and Retirement party!! Many nice prizes to be had!!
I am not saying good bye to my shoe buddies, I will keep my blog site up for a while, as long as you want to click and see what is going on in my life. Many have ask that I do this. I too would love for you to email me with special events in your lives that I might share on the site.
So a sad time, but a happy time. Life moves on and we never know what direction it might take.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing memories, families, friends, heartbreaks, joyous times with me. I have so many memories. Thank you for allowing me to be your dealer, thank you across the pond that has kept with me even with the soaring postage. thank you everyone that has made these years possible for me

START THINKING WAY BACK!!

Just a little hint for all the party participants. I am going to be asking questions that take us way back!!! It will really make you think!!

You will work hard for your prizes this time!!!

DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO..

Been trying to make it so all comments are on the board to be seen by everyone like a post. I don't know how I will work it if it doesn't work for the party....I will figure out something!!!

When ask if its 133 different people or the same..see below : )

I have a site meter that tells me who, when, where, and time spent and how many pages viewed. That is how I know how many people check into my blogsite. Its great to know that after all that has happened in the 10 years I have sold that I still have wonderful collectors that check to see what I have available...keep your eyes peeled...Just to show you for example the people that have checked the blog, here is one day (24 hours) sampling.

PARTY TIMES?

If we do 10 am Cody, Wy. time does that work for the friends across the pond?

If we do 4 pm Cody, Wy. time, does that work for the friends in the US and Canada?

Would like your feedback please?

OUTSIDE OUR WINDOW

What a treat, we had been watching the mama on Tuesday thinking she was in labor. This morning these twins came bouncing in the yard. Next I looked they were under the window outside the den!!

Last year the mama had triplets. They were 4 months old by the time we moved here, we will get to watch her twins this year from birth on!!

Earlier this morning I seen a fox, it was in the yard but before I could focus the camera it ran back down over the hill.
