As soon as Cloyd gets the photos on the computer I will post. We seen a fat old grizzly bear, we pulled over the side of the hwy to take photos. He was so engrossed in what ever he was chasing he ignored the cars and the people out with their cameras set up on tripods. I don't want to be that close!!

In answer to the question regarding a hip replacement being the best. Yes, I prefer that since I have had the right one done and its great. I went off the Celebrex as my joints are swollen and stiff so will call doctor to see what he wants me to do next.

I am not in horrid pain as I have leaned to deal with it for so many years, its just when it flairs up that I hate it and just want it fixed. Thank you for the well wishes..

PLEASE FORGIVE ME FOR NOT POSTING

I guess I am showing my age, the 15 hour trip over to Washington, the tons of doctors, family and friends and the trip home (had to split into 2 days) I have been so tired since and not accomplished much of anything.

I don't have to have the hip replaced for a while, I still have some cartilage so he wants to wait. The arthritis is very prevalent and we did an MRI and found I have tendonitis and pockets of fluid on the bone. I am taking an anti inflammatory to try to help that. We will go week by week to see how I do.

The latest I have heard about the recolor Maneater is that it should be to me by mid Nov. You know how it is with container ships. I will keep you all posted on that. I am very excited to see it in person.

I just received an update on the second half of my shoe order and tracking says it will be here on Friday. I will inspect them and get them mailed asap.

AWAY FOR A FEW DAYS

As many of you know 7 years ago I had my right hip replaced, I have congenital hip displacia. That means that the ball joint is egg shape instead of round. Losing 70 pounds took some problems away on the left side, but its now giving me problems to the point of my knee buckling on me..I have an appointment with my orthopedic surgeon on Monday to see IF they will do a replacement on the left. 7 years ago they were equally bad, but they say they won't do it now as its not bad enough. Go figure. Maybe face to face and an exam will change their mind. So its a trip to Washington but I will get to see family and the grand kids!!

We also received a sad email that our tax lady of 22 years passed away so will attend her services too. So If you email me and I don't get right back to you its because of no email service. We will be home on Wed. Oct. 13.

THIS WEEKEND...

Sat. morning we drove 3.5 hours to Livingston, Mt. to a wedding. We decided to come home via the North Entrance of Yellowstone Part. What we seen was beautiful.
There was a upper falls and lower falls. Cloyd and I hiked the 3/8 mile, (600 ft. drop) trail down, and below is what we seen.
Its called the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone.

We definitely got our exercise. It was beautiful, and glad it was before noon as it was already in the 70's. We got up to 90 today in Cody.

First is the river through trees at the top of the trail, then we see the river through the canyon with the beautiful walls of the canyon and then the top of the lower falls. It was as beautiful as Niagara Falls, but much more narrow

ABOUT THE FALL SHOES

The arrival of the fall shoes have been weird. They mailed out the first 9 and the other 11 are suppose to be shipping now. I don't know why it was like that this year, but UNLESS you want me to mail what I have now and then the remaining when they come I will ship together.

I just checked my account and they have not shipped yet.

A MESSAGE FROM RAINE AND SOME 2011 SKETCH PREVIEWS!!

Hi everyone,
A few of you have asked me to friend you on Facebook and I want to make sure you understand why I have not responded. I'm not doing the facebook thing just yet, maybe at some point in the future, but having tried it a couple of years ago, I've been inundated (over 100 or so)with junk emails, everyday! Add to that all the lack of privacy and tracking issues the company's been involved in, and I just want no parts of it at this stage. I'm planning at some point of having a more active fine arts website where I will be blogging, or emailing newsletters, that sort of thing. And of course there is always the ongoing talk of being more active on the official JTRS website, but after all this time I will not promise anything on that front, you've all heard it too many times. Good intentions a big plans seem to precede the daily work that it takes to keep up with that project. As for me, I have enough on my plate designing new shoes, painting and sculpting.

I can't resist showing you a couple of the new designs I'm just finishing up for the next Spring release in 2011. Hope everyone had a wonderful Summer as we begin to head into the Fall season, know that I think of you guys often.

Yes, Sara the gemstones are real.I only use the good quality cez. crystals and the swaraskis.
I never thought I would ever get into beading, but after making a few pieces for myself, I was hooked. Trouble is I want to keep them for myself, lol...Will be working on earrings for them to be sets.

I like the lapis set too, Heidi. Its colors are really nice in the stones.

Deb, the one you like, I have had a few people that want to buy it.
